Located at an altitude of 2,050 meters and accessible exclusively via the Helmjet Sexten cable car, the historic Helm Mountain Restaurant offers stunning panoramic views of the Sexten Dolomites ("cinema on the Dolomites"). The venue seamlessly blends traditional alpine charm with modern comfort, featuring a central bar area with open fireplaces, four traditional wooden stuben, spacious dining rooms, and an à la carte gourmet section. The culinary offer includes a step-free free-flow self-service system with freshly prepared meals. Outdoors, guests can enjoy a large flat panoramic terrace with a prosecco bar, Olperl's Nature Park (a 1.5 km circular trail with a petting zoo and barefoot path), and the Messner Mountain Heritage outdoor exhibition.

To avoid the uneven and steep outdoor path, guests with disabilities can use the ground floor entrance (where an accessible restroom is available). A corridor ramp (7% slope) leads to the kitchen service lift to reach the dining room and terrace; as this passes through a staff-only area, prior phone notification is recommended so staff can escort the guest. Most indoor dining areas, the self-service zone, and the terrace are step-free and wheelchair accessible (except for a seating area raised by two steps). An additional accessible restroom with grab bars and changing table is located on the restaurant level next to the escalators.
