The Parish Church of St. Joseph is one of the most beautiful and modern churches in the Alpine region and an example of contemporary architecture. Built between 1966 and 1971, the church was designed by renowned architect Willy Gutweniger and represents a successful attempt to combine the ancient and the modern. It is important that visitors take sufficient time to understand the rich symbolism of this religious building.
The inauguration of this church took place on March 13, 1977, in the presence of the then Bishop of the Diocese, Dr. Josef Gargitter. Information and images of the church and its furnishings are available at both the rectory and the Tourist Association.
Tours take place every Thursday at 5:00 PM, from Easter to All Saints' Day.
The church is open daily from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The church is easily accessible with a short 12% slope. The doors are wide and the spaces are spacious.
