Rating: Very high
The Bolzano Municipal Theatre is just a few minutes' walk from the train station and the Bolzano Centro car park (discounted parking fees are available at the theatre box office). The main entrance, easily accessible although the doors are difficult to open, leads to the spacious foyer with cloakroom and ticket office, which can also be reached from the secondary entrance on Piazza Verdi. To the left of the main door is the separate entrance to the Teatro Studio. The various floors of the Municipal Theatre are easily accessible via large elevators (150 x 140 cm). A long corridor and two convenient ramps with a 5% and 8% gradient lead to the spacious stalls. Both the stalls and the first-floor gallery have reserved wheelchair spaces. Three accessible restrooms are also located within the theatre.
Notes: Arrival: To reach the Bolzano Municipal Theater, take Via Innsbruck, towards the city center. The Bolzano Centro parking lot is located nearby on Via Mayr Nusser. From there, it's a short walk to the theater. The train station, bus station, and several city bus stops (Piazza Domenicani, Piazza Walther, Piazza Verdi) are also nearby. Parking: Those attending a performance at the Bolzano Municipal Theater will receive a €2 parking ticket. For further information, please contact the theater box office or call +39 0471 065320.
