The fishing ponds in the expansive Prader Sand area are an ideal spot for sport fishing. These small lakes are located near Spondinig and can be reached via the Prad am Stilfserjoch industrial zone. The recreational area is also easily accessible on foot from Spondinig train station via the Merano-Reschen cycle path in about 15 minutes. Nestled in a beautiful natural landscape, the four ponds are particularly well-suited for sport fishing. Even leisurely walks around the lakes or a relaxing stop at the popular "Fischerstube" (Fisherman's Inn) make a family outing to Prader Sand worthwhile.

The "Fischerstube" restaurant is fully accessible, with an external restroom for visitors with disabilities, and all areas, including the dining room and terrace, are accessible to all guests. The outdoor areas, such as the playground and the lake shore, are also easily accessible (although some sections of the path have changes in elevation and inclines).
